Jonathan ClarkDirector
Jonathan is a qualified attorney, notary public and conveyancer. He became a partner at Barnes & Ross in King William’s Town in 1980 before becoming a director at Smith Tabata Inc. in 1996, where he headed the Commercial Law Department at the firm’s East London offices. In 2012, he started his own practice, Jonathan Clark Attorney. This firm developed into the present Clark Laing Inc. Jonathan advises on commercial and corporate matters and property law, including related litigation, and provides advice on trusts and serves in trusteeship roles. Jonathan also carries out pro bono work from time to time and is chairperson of a trust that provides assistance for the surgical care of children in public health facilities. In his free time he enjoys walking, traveling and reading.
