Liesl-Ann Monaghan studied at the University of Natal, Durban for a Social Science Degree. She then studied for her LLB, through Unisa, and completed her articles at Barnes & Ross, later Smith Tabata Inc. Liesl-Ann was admitted as an attorney in 2000. She opened up her own firm shortly thereafter, and was later joined by her husband, Peter. She practised under the name, Monaghan Attorneys, for 16 years. Liesl-Ann was admitted as a conveyancer in 2004 and has practised and been involved in the King William’s Town Deeds Registry since then. She prides herself in a longstanding relationship with the KWT Deeds Registry Office. She is passionate about all aspects of conveyancing, having had a local practice and correspondent practice to run. In mid-2017 Liesl-Ann left her practice for a part time appointment at Cooper, Conroy, Bell & Richards Inc. In January 2020 she joined the team at CLARK LAING inc. bringing with her, her passion for people, conveyancing and practice management. She has experience in all things pertaining to property.
