Sifungile ChinyamurindiDirector

Sifungile Chinyamurindi is an experienced legal professional with a demonstrated history of working in private practice, public sector and within the regulatory landscape of the Eastern Cape province. She is an admitted attorney and has been working in the public sector, within legal, compliance and governance, for the past ten years.  She commenced her legal career at Smith Tabata Inc. and later proceeded to holding the positions of Manager: Legal Services & Board Secretariat at the Eastern Cape Gambling Board, as well as Company Secretary (Senior Manager: Legal Compliance & Governance) at the Eastern Cape Development Corporation. Whilst having a well-rounded background in general litigation, her areas of expertise are company law, corporate governance, public procurement and administrative law.

 

Sifungile is currently a Master of Laws candidate in Competition Regulation. She is also a Board Member of Meals on Wheels Community Services (Eastern Cape), a non-profit organisation where she contributes to a cause which is so close to her heart.

 

She joined Clark Laing Inc. as a Senior Associate within the Public Law Unit, and is now a Director within the firm.
